Dresden Files Accelerated: Emerald City: Requiem
Kirkland
Established in 1888, this small town was originally envisioned as “Pittsburgh of the West” by its founder Peter Kirk. Over the past Century has been a place where big things were supposed to happen but didn’t. Steel Mills, Ferries, and major industries were supposed to be established in Kirkland and the groundwork had been laid, but none of it ever came to pass. Even Costco, that started in Kirkland, moved its Headquarters to Issaquah eventually. But recently new companies like Google have started to move in while at the same time recent annexations of new land will double Kirkland’s size in the near future. Kirkland is a place on the brink of change. But in to what, no one really knows.
