Bellevue, Washington is one of the fastest growing cities in the United States and is seen as a center for the entrepreneurial spirit. Constantly in a state of change and growth Bellevue is as difficult to pin down as a puddle.

Supernaturally no powers have managed to take a firm hold in Bellevue, the spirit of change and renewal seems to reject those old establishment supernatural powers that hold sway in cities like Chicago and New York, but in recent years a spirit of new age and exploration has begun to take hold leading to bursts of minor powers flaring up from time to time but thus far none have taken hold.

Billy West is one of the many success stories that came out of the technology boom of the ‘90s, through sales skills, cunning, and luck he managed to build himself into one of the richest men in America. While at one time William fancied himself an adventurer he has since re-focused himself on business and community, leaving the death defying to the professionals. That does not mean the he has been idol however, in the past year William has made inroads with media outlets and supernatural fringe groups, he’s been moving chess pieces about the board but no one but him knows what his ultimate goal may be.

Great grandson of Bellevue’s founder and owner and CEO of Sun Holdings and Investments, Mr. Maydenbaurer is the figurehead of the Bellevue financial establishment, and chief rival of William West’s West INC. Mr. Maydenbaurer may not have the ear of the people but he firmly holds the ear of the government and police throughout Bellevue and Seattle, including his weekly brunches with the Seattle police commissioner (no, he doesn’t suspect).

While Mr. Maydenbaurer doesn’t believe in any ‘mumbo jumbo’ his distain for West has led him to compete for the various ‘traditional artifacts’ that William collects. With little care for the items himself he tends to either throw them into storage or displays them in the various office buildings he owns throughout the city. There’s a lot of power out there that no one is keeping track of.

Owner and operator of the newest trendy wine bar in Bellevue Square Fraincois Du’Monde is a vampire. A loyal member of the Red Court Fancois has been sent to determine what sort of damage would be caused if the court broke the unspoken truce of the Seattle area and took it as a North American stronghold in the war.
