Immigrating from Italy back in the 1870’s, The Montague Family of The White Court brought a lot of old money to the city and help build Seattle when it was still made of wood.

“Romeo” Montague himself was “born” in Seattle the day he and his Family arrived from Italy.
Back in the day, the boy who became Montague was a notorious Gunfighter, Gambler, Motorized Bandit, Bootlegger, and Playboy…

No one is sure if Montague is his family’s actual name or some kind of internal Title of The White Court, but whatever it is it demands a great deal of respect among local supernatural communities dating back centuries. He has held that title since around 1934 when an intrepid group of local supernatural interests managed to kill Montague’s Father, Uncles, Aunts and even his elder Brother and Sister in a massive strike that was heard round the world but never made the local papers. The power vacuum left young Montague as the new head of the Seattle White Court.

He disappeared into obscurity in 1961, after his legendary defeat at the hands of the Magma Kracken which gave the White Council critical intelligence about the location of Kemmler’s Lab and a scar on Montague’s face from eye socket to lip……

But, Montague reappeared back on the scene a few years ago as Ronald Montgomery, when he become police commissioner out of nowhere. To this day, no one is entirely sure how he managed that feat.

Despite his unsavory reputation as a manipulator of all things sordid in the area, Lord Montague is known as A Respectable Sort of Villain. Since taking power, he has been very helpful in maintaining the very precarious balance of Seattle’s Casablancaness. He keeps a lot of supernatural powers throughout the city in check and keeps several powers who still wish to move back into town out. Because of this, no matter how many people want to take Montague down, doing so may end up causing more damage than it would prevent.

To complicate matters, all of Montague’s children have embedded themselves into various areas of public service. This combined with his positive overhaul and investment in public services(including the pension funds) has given the Seattle White Court and especially Lord Montague himself with a great deal of mortal insulation.

A popular rumor is that he sleeps with a signed copy of The Prince on his bedside table…
