You cannot attack unless this condition is marked. Mark this condition when you have successfully created an aspect like Dark Energy at the location of your target. The aspect is detectable and opposable by any magical practitioner at the location.

Check one box to add +1 an attack or to defend against counterspells. When all boxes are checked you are dispelled. Gathering power is cleared and you cannot use any skills until recovered. Recover all boxes when the caster(s) have an uninterrupted scene to recast your ritual (Overcome 4 Focus).
