Emmie Mercer is the niece of Aaron Mercer and as such a White Court Vampire. Unlike her uncle though she has rejected her mantle of power and become a pure mortal through her own singular courage while protecting the child Jamie Heupel from the predations of a powerful Black Court Vampire. She is currently dating Leif Wotensen and working at the Radcliffe Clinic on Capitol Hill.
