Mediocre +0: Haste

MANTLE:

REVENANT OF CHERNOBOG (Otherworldly Scale)

UNIQUE CONDITIONS:

Heat Vampire (sticky): [ ][ ][ ][ ][ ]

Mark one of this condition’s five boxes to power revenant stunts. If you are taken out while Heat Vampire is full, the consequences could be dire: the GM may determine that you embark on a feeding frenzy, killing nearby mortals but clearing the Heat Vampire track immediately. To otherwise clear Heat Vampire, you must feed on someone’s body heat: establish an advantage on your target (e.g., Grappled), and then make a successful attack. The subsequent feeding has two possible degrees of intensity:

  • Your victim takes a condition representing physical harm. Clear two Heat Vampire boxes for a sticky condition, four for a lasting one.
  • Your victim dies. Clear Heat Vampire.
Marked by Chernobog (special): [x]

This is always marked, unless your tie with your sponsor is severed. You are supernaturally marked as having an ongoing pact with your sponsor, and any supernatural being can perceive that this is so. A soulgaze or other divination is required to discern who your sponsor is.

CORE STUNTS:

Brute Strength:

When brute strength is required, call upon your patrons nature to gain a bonus of +2 per box of Heat Vampire marked. Furthermore, any physical actions taken may (per the GM) include scale (page 182) regardless of whether Heat Vampire is used.

Living Dead:

Mark one box of Heat Vampire to absorb two shifts from a physical attack.

Emotional Projection:

Use Focus to cause Fear in a target. Mark a box of Heat Vampire to use the Create an Advantage or Overcome actions to conjure strong feelings of that emotion in any person you have line of sight to. You gain a +1 to the roll. You may take this stunt multiple times choosing different Approach/Emotion combinations.

ADDITIONAL STUNTS:

Emotional Onslaught:

(requires Emotional Projection) You may use Emotional Projection to make Attacks against a target in your line of sight.

Superior Recovery:

Outside of conflict, mark one box of Heat Vampire to clear a sticky condition, or two boxes to begin recovery from a lasting condition. These conditions must represent physical injury.

Elemental Magic:

Cold magic with Focus Mark a box of Heat Vampire to perform magic with that cold as per Evocation (pg 140). Mark In Peril and Doomed in place of Exhausted and Burnt Out.

STRESS: [ 1 ][ 1 ][ 1 ][ 1 ][ 1 ][ 1 ]

CONDITIONS:

In Peril (sticky): [ 4 ]
Doomed (lasting): [ 6 ]
Bio:

DFFAE_Character_v2_CasimirSokolov.pngCasimir Viktorovich Sokolov was a Russian gangster, known for his reputation as a notorious contract killer in the Russian criminal underworld. Also known as The Macedonian, Sokolov was involved in Russian Mob activity for much of the 1990’s until disappearing after his second escape from prison in 2007.

It turns out his body had been possessed by the soul of computer nerd RYAN DELMONT after murdering him as part of a contract from the Russian Bratva. Sokolov was consecrated to the God of Murder and, because he didn’t believe in such things, had sold his soul over to the god. The god needed a willing vessel though and while Sokolov possessed an ideal body his soul was hard to control. He may have signed the contract but technically he wasn’t a willing vessel. When Sokolov murdered Delmont the god made a deal with the young computer nerd and placed his soul in Sokolov’s body. Delmont had made a deal with the Black God CHERNOBOG and had become an ideal vessel for him.

Delmont was later dominated by a High Priest of Chernobog named Barry Goldman who was trying to manifest his dark master on this plane of existence. Unfortunately, the ritual went horribly wrong and THE UN-MAN was created. The powerful outsider devoured the mana that gave Ryan his inhuman abilities and left him a husk of his former self. His spirit was devoured in the process leaving Casimir free for the first time in years. Casimir wasted no time and quickly took over the Russian gangs in the Northwest killing those who didn’t obey him and terrorizing the rest into obedience.

UPDATE

Casimir has somehow regained his power and his frail body had been made whole. He proved not to be a match for David Clay and Fergus Mac Cormaic who killed him in a pitched battle while they were rescuing Dušan Branislav from his clutches.
